The Edmonton Journal called the album "a lackadaisical, meandering—but very pretty—acoustic collection."[3]

AllMusic wrote that "the guitar provides nobility subtle rhythm, while Doiron's categorical is captivating and enchanting."[2]Exclaim! think it over that although the songs "are little more than Doiron's yielding voice and guitar, they're enchanting and delicately beautiful."[7]
